What will be will be?

It’s 2.39am now and I’ve been up for approx 3 days (ha no just kidding) but my mind is on one at the moment replaying and replaying scenarios of what my future may hold. Do we really believe that our paths are already written for us and no matter what we do and try in life, what will be will be?

I’d like to think this is how I became part of this journey and that my mum telling me that the ‘universe chose for this to happen to me because I’m strong enough to beat it’ is not a pile of dog shit and actually has some kind of philosophical meaning that should drive me forward, but who knows...

I do know, that since I started my blog, my whole mindset about what I want to achieve in life has shifted. If you knew me before, I was absolutely buzzin when I got pregnant and David told me I could be a ‘stay at home mum’ 😂. I bought retirement banners to my baby shower and I well and truly packed up my working bags ready for the the ‘life of leisure’ (trust me, on reflection, a 2 year old diva is not a nice leisure activity, however she’s mine and I wouldn’t have it any other way)..

But I feel like this journey has given me some kind of purpose, whether it be to spread awareness about Sarcoma, young adults with cancer, mental health, knowing your body, empowering bad ass women, everyday mum guilts which we all have.. I have no idea. However, I feel like it’s given me a voice. I now don’t want to sit down and be quiet and stay at home. I want to fight and tell you all that this mama is out of her retirement and will be doing everything she can to make sure the world knows who I am and watch me achieve the impossible in whatever life has in store for me. 💪🏻

(Ps, tomorrow I’ll probs be lying on the sofa feeling sorry for my self eating copious amounts of dairy milk & sipping Dr Pepper wondering where this sense of entitlement came from, all the best Rach 😂)

‘The universe has a funny way of blessing you, whether it be with people or things, or moments or places, it knows & it gives you everything you need. But only when you are ready. Trust the

process’
